As a tribute to Singapore’s famous road the Partners agreed to name their first restaurant - ORCHARD ROAD.    

Known as the prominent retail, entertainment, and food hub in the country, the restaurant offers local Singaporean dishes which, due to the cultural diversity of Singapore, are a fusion of flavors influenced by Malay, Chinese, Indian, and Western cuisines.   

Orchard Road started as an idea by Asian TV personality and celebrity cook Vivien Tan who, after marrying a Filipino and spending time in the Philippines, began missing her “local favourites”.  She saw an opportunity to translate those beloved South East Asian flavours found in Singapore for the Pinoy palate in the Philippines.   Her friend and food connoisseur, Ms. Carol Sy, suggested she bring in the style and taste of South East Asia and Singapore to Manila, the idea for Orchard Road was born.  

Together, they saw the potential in bringing great South East Asian flavours to Manila in the form of a boutique eatery to celebrate the Asian food heritage in the Philippines. Their efforts were backed up by a strong partnership with prominent local investors and the Orchard Road dream has now became a tasty reality.  

Orchard Road’s unique value proposition is to offer diners a true taste of Singapore with its uniquely set-up showcase and interactive dining kitchen, where diners can choose from a wide array of savory and sweet dishes and at the same time watch their food being freshly prepared.  It is a place for both families to come and dine, and also for executives to have a fast, fresh, and tasty lunch at great prices, true taste and value for money.
